Iīm glad to hear that you enjoy the sound of raask now, too. As you know, Iīm also drivinī a raask pipe on my olī babe, but backfiring is less than before since iīve mounted it three years ago. Maybe itīs because of the slash cut.
Iīve driven it one season without the baffle inside and then the performance in the low and middle ranges is better again, but for german cops itīs too loud (Oh..., I like it!).
Now I consider to cut off one of those disks youīve mentioned in your report to get it a little bit louder again, but I donīt know which one? I donīt wanna loose the deep sound of it. So hereīs my question: Which disk should I cut off - the nearest to the cylinder, the middle one or the third one??? If there are differences in the sound, can anybody tell me please (Iīve only got one baffle to try!)?
